OIS Parent-Teacher Association

All parents and teachers with children at OIS are automatically members of the Parent Teacher Association. Parent take turns in serving as class representatives. The objectives of the PTA are as follows:

  1. To promote the welfare of children in home, school and community.
  2. To provide support to the OIS parent community through education, orientation and other services.
  3. To create friendly relationships and promote communication between the faculty, parents and other associates of the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of our students.
  4. To advance the education of the students at the school by providing funding and assisting in special projects for education at the school not normally provided through the school budget.

The OIS PTA meets on a monthly basis through the school year. All parents are invited to participate in PTA events. The OIS PTA values our cooperation with the Senri International School Parent Association. Please feel free to contact the PTA for further information. (oispta-bd@soismail.jp)
